So if you are all too comfy with Gentoo, try Funtoo. It’s a better stage3 and the unstable is quite good – being built for core2 and all. The Repo is sync’d on a daily basis.

i gotta say im really in love with Gentoo :-D
will give Funtoo a shot sometime soon(but as virtual instance i guess)…
